Sarah Stone


Sarah Stone is a marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in writing, website design and management, and strategic planning in the not-for-profit sector. She is currently the marketing and communications coordinator at Albert College, Canada’s oldest co-educational boarding and day school. She leads the school’s internal and external communications while finding new ways to increase student enrollment.

Prior to joining Albert College, Sarah worked at the Canadian Real Estate Association as a marketing coordinator. She worked on multiple marketing campaigns for different user and member segments for B2B and B2C products, like (Canada’s #1 real estate website). One of her many accomplishments includes increasing member participation by over 200% in the association’s annual 2 Minutes to Win it member contest.

Before joining the Canadian Real Estate Association, Sarah was the Communications Lead at the Carleton University Student Experience Office and Office of Student Affairs. She lead a team of students to implement communication initiatives for programs and events to engage new and current students and effectively increasing online engagement by 26%.

Born in Ottawa, Sarah holds a B.A. in Mass Communications and minor in Law from Carleton University and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations – Event Management from Loyalist College. When not spending time volunteering or hanging out with friends, she can be found in the kitchen baking delicious and decadent desserts.

I have 5+ years in designing and updating websites using WordPress. I use basic search engine optimization and website accessibility practices to ensure they are responsive and efficient. While ensuring all digital campaigns meet objectives, I use Google Analytics to track, measure, and provide recommendations.


I have experience in campaign management of designing, executing, and measuring content to reach target goals. Media includes newsletters, blogs, brochures, social media, and posters. I measure production through social media analytics, focus groups, and general feedback surveys.


Areas include new media strategies, image and reputation, issues management, crisis management, events, and cause marketing.
